CD 23

I got some incredible news today: Rose had an ultrasound and was told she is having a girl!! I was so happy I had to open my bedroom door and yell it to the rest of the house. She has wanted a little girl ever since she herself (and I) was a little girl. This is great news for her, I couldn't be happier.

I took my temperature this morning and was dismayed to see that it was lower, not higher, than normal. I don't think I slept right through the night though, so it's possible that it wasn't accurate. I am hoping for a spike tomorrow morning.

I also checked my cervix, as I usually do each day, and it was very high! I am excited about this, because it gives me hope that I am ovulating. When I checked the mucus, it seemed a bit closer to the egg-white likeness than it has been the last few days. I noticed a bit of blood in the mucus, which is also a good sign, but while checking the position again, there was quite a bit of red blood. I am confused with this. It could be a sign of ovulation, or perhaps I scratched myself. Either way, I will keep an eye on it, and update tomorrow.

BBT: 35.85 C
CM: EW, flecks of blood
CP: High, turned, wet.
