4 DPO

I've decided to assume I ovulated on the weekend, which puts me at four days past ovulation. My body is doing exactly what it should be at this point in my cycle, and my temperatures also seem to be reflecting it. So until I know otherwise, my blogs are now in relation to how many days past ovulation I am.

One hour ago my mom's best friend's daughter finally had her baby girl by Cesarean section, after a day and a half of slow moving labor. She was nine pounds, so I am glad it is over for her now.

This morning I took my temperature at 8:00, as always, but before the minute was up revealing my newest BBT, I zonked out. We all slept in. When I woke up and noticed my thermometer hanging out of my mouth, I checked it, but it didn't save the temperature, so I retook it just to see what it would say. It was exactly the same as yesterday. I took the kids to school at recess, and then came back home because working for only two hours is not worth it. When I got home, I went straight to bed so that I could take my temperature again after three hours of sleep. I know the temperature isn't accurate because it wasn't first thing in the morning, but I wanted to have something on my chart. My temperature at 2:30 was slightly higher, which gives me a little hope.

I was exhausted last night and today, and I'm still tired. I should be in bed! When will I learn?

My mucus is increasing, and my cervix is hard to reach. I'm not sure if this is to be expected after ovulation, but I believe it is at some point.

My breasts are changing again, much like last month: The areolas are very large, as spread out as they can possible get. They are puffy and soft, my nipples are very sensitive, and as of a couple hours ago, my veins are sticking out! They have been noticeable for a few days, but now they are popping out of my skin. Another good sign for post-ovulation!

BBT 8:30 AM ~ 36.02 C
2:30 PM ~ 36.14 C
CM: Creamy
CP: Super high, wet, closed
