Yesterday morning I was more concerned with Montana's temperature than my own, so I forgot to grab the thermometer as soon as I woke up. I did take it this morning, though, and it's still hovering around the same degree. Nothing too interesting happening with my body.
I am rather annoyed with television, though. I am watching King of Queens, and the main character tells her husband "I don't feel well." Predictably, she gets a positive on her home pregnancy test less than three minutes later. In TV land, women don't get stomach aches. It isn't from food, as the KoQ wife confirmed, it is always a "different" kind of malady. It is always just that easy for fake pregnancies: One sexual encounter where protection is forgotten, a brief stomach ache or fainting episode, and bam! Pregnancy.
These kinds of Hollywood idiosyncrasies have always bothered me, and sparked an entry on my Lighter Side of Life blog months ago, but the pregnancy one really irked me for obvious reasons. Vent over, though! Hopefully in the next few weeks I will have a distinct stomach ache followed by a quick result on a stick, and a lovely joyful pregnancy!
